Foldr appliance update version 4.10.0.1 (August 2018) switched the SSL security setting to ‘modern’ SSL ciphers to the default configuration. This in turn disables older / weaker protocols such as TLS 1.0 and 1.1 and ciphers such as RC4 and 3DES.
Older Windows 7 & 8 systems running Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016 may see the error “The Application Experienced an Internal Error Loading the SSL Libraries” when using the ‘Edit in Microsoft Office’ button. To resolve this, the administrator can either downgrade to the older / legacy SSL ciphers or install the hotfix for the operating system.

If you cannot install the hotfix for Windows, you can downgrade the Foldr appliance to support legacy SSL ciphers by running the following command on the Foldr appliance console:
set-ciphers legacy
To switch the server back to the default SSL cipher command (TLS 1.2 only) use:
set-ciphers modern
